| Print Design Process
To create a successful print product, you must first ask yourself some important questions and clearly define your marketing goals.
At Being Media we break each project into seven phases, each of which ends with a client sign-off. We do this to keep the project on track and within the budget.
Phase 1: Defining Goals for you Print Product
Our designers will meet with people from your company to determine the objective of your print product. What are your expectations and what do you see being the end result? With the questions you have asked yourself, you will be able to give us information about your company, your goals, style, your products and/or services, target audience and any other information.
Phase 2: Research
Once we have received your print product information, we will research your competitors and target audience to get a better understanding of them as well as your company. The questions you have asked yourself will also help us determine in which design direction we will go.
Phase 3: Concepts and Design
Next we will create some samples of design and layout ideas that could work to achieve the objective of your print product. These samples will be sent to you for feedback and any changes you would like made.
Phase 4: Development and Production
Once you have approved of a concept for your print product, we will further develop and refine its design and layout. Your feedback is important at this stage and final changes are made.
Phase 5: Print Management
The final version of your print product will be sent to you for final approval. Then we proof and prepare it for printing. By this stage, we would have decided on the processes involved in printing, such as Full Colour or Black & White, size, paper stock, finishes and anything else that is required to achieve the final look of your print product.
Phase 6: Delivery
Once your print product has been printed, it will be delivered to you at your company address!
Phase 7: Future Updates and Maintenance
Your print product is the face of your company, so it must be kept up to date. This may include updating graphics and text, or you may need a completely new design. We will work with you to establish a regular updating routine so your customers will always be well informed.
